The Star | Watercolor Tarot
Once upon a time I dreamed of creating 9x14 watercolor re-imaginings of each Tarot Card (or maybe just the Major Arcana cuz jeez that's a lot of cards).
I still hold a fleeting hope I could actually finish the Major Arcana someday. . . but the two I did finish took me literally months.
Creating both this piece and The Wheel of Fortune were huge motivating factors in going to art school. I was beginning to hit a wall with intuition alone. Still, I'm proud of the perspective I achieved with this piece!
